  1. You must employ on average berween 50-99 full-time and full-time equivalent employees during 2014.
  2. You cannot reduce the size of your workforce or overall hours between February 9, 2014 and December 31, 2014 in order to meet the 50-99 employee requirement.
  3. As of February 9, 2014, you cannot eliminate or materially reduce the health coverage that you offered between February 9, 2014 and December 31, 2015.
  4. Starting in 2016, you must offer health insurance to at least 95% of your full-time workers to avoid the penalty.

  1. If your plan starts after January 1, 2015, you have until the first day of the month your plan year starts to comply with the new laws.
  2. You must offer at least one plan that is minimum value and affordable, or face penalties.
